Hobbies
Screen Printing
I started screen-printing with my employment at Cold Cuts Merch. Since then I have mostly printed for fun paper prints and some clothing. Above is a bag I made!
I love screen-printing because it is such a hypnotic task, also I just love making things and playing around with new art mediums. I’ve always loved creating things and being able to share it with my friends(its nice when strangers compliment your work too)!
Barista’ing
I am a hardcore caffeine addict, however my coffee addiction was both time consuming (morning coffee runs) and costly (daily Starbucks trips add up fast). In order to counteract this I just starting making my own espresso at home, since then its a daily ritual I never miss. I love experimenting with new types of beans, grind, roast styles, ect. There are so many differently subtleties you can tweak and balance its like a real-life character systems balance sheet.
Dog Walking
I dog train and walk/cat sit as a side gig when between semesters. While volunteering at the animal shelter I picked up basic dog training skills, as well as understanding some of their mannerisms. Dog walking is a good way for me to get exercise, explore new areas where I live and spend time with lots and lots of dogs!
Above is a picture of me walking my rescue dog Dodge - we have a push cart for him because he’s missing his front leg and gets tired quickly on walks!
Dream Projects
Republic Commando Revamp
Republic Commando is a forgotten xbox game, Dream Project 1 would be a revamp of the Republic Commando title. This time utilizing the third-person over-the-shoulder shooting style of GoW. Third Person Shooting would give players more agency when utilizing the Squad Command Features. Commandos also already have cover-based shooting animations for your AI squad members.
This relaunch would also be a more gritty expansion into the clone wars saga. As Delta Squad follows the tactical hierarchy of a real special ops team, and the original launch of the game was no stranger to killing squamate’s, I believe this would be a perfect title to experiment with a more gritty Starwars title.
Pokémon autoBattleFrontier
Dream Project 2 would be the Pokémon autoBattle Frontier. this would be a mobile/switch launch of a 8 Player PvP Pokémon theme game within the autoBattler genre.
Players will draft together a unique team of Pokémon that each have type based synergies (Grass types regen HP whenever they use their Special Attack) to defeat the other Battle Frontier challengers and claim Victory!
Personal Project - Summoner
Summoner is a FPS I have been programming and designing for sometime. Two teams of 4 are placed in mirrored-separate arenas. Enemy AI will spawn in waves, as players kill the AI they drop Essence that can be deposited to gain points and either summon a powerful enemy on the enemy side or send yourself over to attack them.
When teams score 100 points they summon a raid boss, first team to defeat their raid boss wins the match.
Players can customize their characters by changing out weapons, spells and role perks (Striker, Slayer, Defender or Summoner).
